In 2017, we started the #BuildLove campaign to celebrate the cultural diversity of the East Harlem community. We partnered with artist, Manny Vega, to create a five-story banner featuring flags stitched together, demonstrating that while we may come from different places, we are strengthened by our common humanity.

In our 60th year, we are continuing our message of hope and possibility, #BuildLove. Through the power of love, we encourage our scholars to think critically, seek social justice, and achieve their best possible selves. It is our call to action, and how we support our next generation of leaders.
