EHTP’s after-school Elementary Program serves scholars in grades K-5 and runs 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Elementary Program provides students with an intensive curriculum that emphasizes literacy and math. In addition, it provides a range of counseling services and support groups, helps students gain admission to quality middle schools, and gives that students the social-emotional support to meet any opportunities and challenges they may face. EHTP offers programs and services year-round at no cost to students and families.
In order to apply to EHTP, your child must meet the following requirements:
Must reside or attend school in East Harlem.
Must be able to arrive at program no later than 3:30 p.m.
Must maintain an 80% attendance rate at program.
Must attend EHTP’s 5-week summer session.
