Want your middle-schooler to spend their after-school hours exploring their passions and developing their skills?

East Harlem Tutorial Program offers a year-round, college-readiness program for middle school students that provides young adults with academic support, engaging enrichment programs, and a caring community. All EHTP after-school programs are currently virtual and tuition-free with admissions preference for residents of East Harlem.

The Middle School After-School Program meets four days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Scholars in grades 6-8 are provided the opportunity to discover new interests and grow their passion with a variety of elective courses.
Year-Round Support

To keep minds active and bodies busy during the summer months, all after-school students are enrolled in EHTP’s four-week summer program. Visit our summer program page to learn more.

School Admissions Program

Families of our 5th and 8th grade scholars participate in our School Admissions Program and receive support from EHTP on how to find and apply to schools that are the best fit for their children. In addition to receiving individualized support, families attend school fairs and open houses across the city, are invited to workshops, and receive support in submitting applications to public, private, and charter schools.
