An evening of cocktails and comedy to benefit East Harlem Tutorial Program.

Winner gets to co-host an on-air segment to talk fantasy sports; a one-on-one lunch with fantasy sports Hall of Famer, Scott Engel; 30 minutes of fantasy consultation on your team (or if you are smart, pre-draft); and more!



All funds raised will be donated to East Harlem Tutorial Program.
Through its after-school educational programs and public charter schools, EHTP prepares students with the academic skills, strength of character, and emotional well-being to excel in high school and college, to lead in their communities, and to realize their best possible selves.

Texas Hold ‘Em Charity Poker Tournament to Benefit EHTP

EHTP board member, K. Don Cornwell, along with a dedicated host committee, sponsored a No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament to help put students in East Harlem on track to graduate college.

Phillips Charitable Organizations Contributes $250K to EHTP

Charles and Karen Phillips’ non-profit, Phillips Charitable Organizations (PCO), has generously contributed $250,000 to East Harlem Tutorial Program in sponsorship of our University Program Robotics program.  We are so grateful and honored by the gift, which will allow us to bring high-quality engineering programs to even more students in East Harlem!

East Harlem Scholars Academy II to open in August of 2013!

We are excited to announce that our application to the SUNY Trustees to open a new K-12 public charter school, East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School II, has been approved! Scholars Academy II will open for the 2013-14 academic year with 108 students in Grades K and 1, ultimately growing to serve K-12.  The school will have an enrollment preference for English Language Learners in CSD 4 and other residents of CSD 4.

Like its sister school, Scholars Academy, the new school will be an achievement-driven, nurturing environment where students receive intensive literacy, math, and science education to prepare them for a successful college career. The new school will be located in CSD 4 in the East Harlem community. Apply now!
